Learning Marketplace: School of Everything

By Dan Gould on September 4, 2008

Marketplaces seem to be where it’s at these days. Etsy for crafts, Threadless for t-shirts, Foodzie for food, and now, School of Everything for learning.

It’s such a simple and fantastic idea. School of Everything allows teachers to reach students, and vice-versa. Anyone around the world can sign up to learn or teach, and the site is searchable by subjects and location. Teachers can offer their expertise for pay, for free, or in trade with another teacher.

The only thing the site could use is some sort of feedback, or reputation system. A comments section and rating ability could go far in building credibility for teachers.
