No Road, No Problem: The Amphibious Bicycle

No Road, No Problem: The Amphibious Bicycle

By Dan Gould on September 16, 2008

The Di-Cycle is a wild looking vehicle that’s equally at home on land or on the water. It’s pedal powered, and controlled by handles located near the driver’s waist. This concept paddle boat -bicycle hybrid was designed by GBO Design in the Netherlands, inspired by the numerous canals in their city of Helmond. Something like this could change traffic patterns in interesting ways. No roads, bumper to bumper traffic? Not a problem, just hop on a river, or paddle down the coast and you’ll be good.
