Gizmodo is bringing a bundle of interesting electronics to display to visitors of the Reed Space in New York. The Gizmodo Gallery begins today and continues until December 7th, with funding coming from GizMine, an online store of well designed gadgets like the recently written about Mir:ror. The gallery is a huge collection of items (aspirational, for most) and gives visitors the opportunity to actually play around with the latest toys, games, and electronics. Gizmodo is bringing a Red One Camera (to be played back on a 103-inch plasma screen), the world’s most powerful flashlight and some Gundam slippers that make a loud robot stomp with every step.
Also visitors are encouraged to bring their own electronics to be laser etched (for free) with any vector based graphic (and if they don’t like the results, they can hand it off to the in-house Will it Blend demonstration). Finally to top it all off, there will be a remote controlled dragonfly whirling around and the epic 3800-piece Lego Deathstar. If you are in the New York area we would definitely recommend checking it out.
