Dan Hon, CEO and Co-Founder of Six to Start will be joining our “Good Ideas in Mobile” panel at the PSFK Good Ideas Salon London. Along with Matt Jones of Dopplr and Mike Butcher, they will discuss what opportunities are developing at the intersection of mobile, location, and the web.
First, who are you and what do you do?
I’m Dan Hon and I’m CEO and Co-Founder of Six to Start - we make and invent new kinds of entertainment that are designed from the start to live on multiple platforms. That covers everything from on-and-offline experiences for theme parks, playful storytelling and web-based games. I play drums in Rock Band, drive with Piranha in WipEout and am play a horde level 70 troll rogue in World of Warcraft.
You’ll be sharing your ideas on our Good Ideas in Mobile panel. In one paragraph, can you explain what themes and ideas you hope to touch upon during the discussion?
What kind of game and storytelling experiences can we design when we’re always on, everywhere, and how can we build them to be subtle and non-intrusive? How can we make them fun, and how can we make the world come alive around us?

For the horde! Nice to know that someone as influential plays World of Warcraft :D Any tips for raiding? Haha.
I plan to take up game design and hope to learn more about what makes great minds tick.
