There’s that old saying about talking a lot and not saying much. Coudal Partners points out two ways of looking at the world and actually seeing things.

The Blog of Unnecessary Quotes features a collection of images where the use of quotes convey unintended messages.

And they also point to a collection of infrared photography, which uses filters to block out and enhance certain colors in the visual spectrum, creating surreal, dreamlike images before retouching.

By taking advantage of what is already out there, these two ways of looking offer fresh perspectives on the world by changing the lens, not creating something new from scratch.
