Virgin America has decided that it would be a good idea to offer Absinthe on their flights. “Don’t be surprised if you see a Green Fairy on board your next Virgin America flight,” a recent email says. Flights will now be selling Le Tourment Vert a French absinthe.

I think they should really step up, first airline to offer: glue huffing, Khat, GHB, legal ’shrooms, nitrous oxide.

It’s my understanding that absinthe may contain up to 10mg/liter of thujone and still be legal for sale in the US.
