In Sunday’s New York Times, we noticed this interesting use of typography to highlight points in an opinion piece about the state of the US economy. Seems rather Victorian.
Does “Victorian” mean disruptive or attention grabbing, because that’s what it did for me.

Looks more like New York magazine to me, but either way I like it. helps the scanning culture attack ideas that need real length.

I suppose I use the term Victorian because it reminds me of old fashioned posters with news or ad-copy.
