Laser Cut Sketchbook Morphs Into a 3D Space

Using a series of precise laser cuts, architect Johan Hybschmann has transformed the pages of a blank sketchbook into a virtual 3D space. As readers turn the pages, the cutouts form a three-dimensional perspectively accurate space that duplicates Alexander Sokurov’s film Russian Ark – a 90 minute journey through Russia’s Winter Palace.
