Jer Thorp of the blprnt blog has created a simple but compelling data visualization of Twitter posts across the planet which say “good morning” in some way. An animation displays a wave of about 11,000 tweets collected over a 24 hour period. It was made using Processing, Twitter4J and MataCarta’s geo-parsing APIs. Watch it below.
