(Event) Sendak in SoHo

Coinciding with the theatrical release of “Where The Wild Things Are”, the Animazing Gallery in Soho NYC is presenting the world’s largest exhibition and sale of Maurice Sendak’s illustrations.

Coinciding with the theatrical release of “Where The Wild Things Are”, the Animazing Gallery in Soho NYC is presenting the world’s largest exhibition and sale of Maurice Sendak’s illustrations.

Over 200 different pieces will be on display, as well as a limited edition bronze sculpture based on WTWTA, etchings, and a commemorative poster.

“Sendak In SoHo” is just one of many events celebrating the writer/illustrator- The Morgan Library & Museum in Manhattan is showcasing Sendak’s original drawings and notes for “Where The Wild Things Are”, and the Contemporary Jewish Museum in San Francisco is doing an exhibition on him as well.
