Though she may be known more for her tartan plaids and punk style than her domesticity, Vivienne Westwood has decided to branch out into the world of interior design. Teaming up with wallpaper titans Cole & Son, Westwood claims that her collection is inspired by some of her most signature designs such as the “iconic Squiggle print from her Autumn-Winter 81/82 Pirate collection and the more recent Cut-Out Lace from her Spring-Summer 07 I am Expensive collection“. The paper is not just good for wall covering, but as the folks over at view on fashion found out, it can also double as excellent origami material.

talk about blending in! Wallpaper isn’t really ‘in’ in Australia, I noticed how ‘out’ it was for us when I went to Britain, where every home had walls papered, and in some cases the paper was painted over. Just seems like too much hard work… is sticking paper on walls big anywhere else?
