Minnesota Government Office Implements Results Only Work Environment

Hennepin County Department of Human Services and Public Health in Minneapolis, Minnesota has implemented a results-only work environment (ROWE) last year, which enables all its employees the freedom to work from anywhere and anytime, as long as they get the work done.

The unusual program raised mixed opinions from the employees, with most of them supporting the flexibility to work from home, while a few others felt they were missing the work culture of an office environment.

Minnesota signed a contract for the ROWE program last year as part of their campaign to reduce rush hour traffic.
