Anthony Sperduti & Andy Spade will be speaking at our upcoming PSFK Conference 2010, taking place on April 9th. They are the creative experience builders behind the Partners & Spade shop and consultancy.

PSFK talked with Anthony to see what Partners & Spade have been up to lately.

What are you working on right now?

We are working on varied several projects – from the design of a new hotel in New York, a relaunch of a classic tennis apparel brand, a campaign for AOL, to the design and manufacturing of our own product.

What has been the most interesting reaction to your project?

What has been the most gratifying response has been the numerous requests for product collaborations we’ve received  in the last 6 months – this seems to us the best response we could ever imagine from the brand we are building.

What projects, people or ideas are currently inspiring your thinking these days?

People like Tibor Kalman have ALWAYS been an inspiration – brands like Margiela are also inspiring – Rei Kawakubo as well. The clarity in communication of George Lois is also something we’ve always aspired to

What developing trend, idea or technology makes you most excited or hopeful for the future?

The platform that blogs have given people to express, with clarity and ease, their POV has been really fun to watch – we’ve hired and collaborated with people we admired just from their blogs (that were usually started as a passion that found a worldwide audience strictly on its merit)

Thanks Anthony!
