Stickybits is a mobile app that scans barcodes, allowing users to associate the physical object with text, photos, audio and video within the application.

Stickybits is a mobile app that instantly scans any barcode a user points their camera at. Users can then associate the physical object with text, photos, audio and video within the application; this content follows the object and is available for any other user who scans the same barcode in the future.

People have suggested applications ranging from digital management of inventory, to how-to videos embedded directly onto products, to art exhibits housed entirely in barcode form. While any existing barcode is scannable, Stickybits allows users to attach their own personal codes to objects anywhere through stickers available for purchase on the website.
