Australian men’s swimwear manufacturer aussieBum have released a range of underwear that breaks new ground in eco-friendly design.  Claiming to be a world-first in underwear design, the Banana Brief is made from a blend of ultra-soft organic cotton and bark fibers from the banana tree.

Although banana fibers tend to produce some irregularities when woven, the textile works well when blended with other fibers, and is far better for the environment than water, fertilizer and insecticide-heavy cotton crops.
