Kia Pop Concept Hints At A Future EV City Car

Kia Pop Concept Hints At A Future EV City Car

By Dave Pinter on August 18, 2010

The Paris Auto Show in September kicks off the new auto show season and already some interesting sneak-peak vehicle images are beginning to circulate prior to official reveals. Take the latest concept from Kia, an electric powered, three-seater city car called the Pop Concept.

The exterior sports a mix of sculpted surfaces and bold graphic shapes. The stretched side windows create the visual impression that the vehicle is longer than its under 10-foot overall length.

Inside, Kia has revived the bench seat for the driver and front passenger, although this one has a swoopy shape. A single seat is provided in the rear for a third passenger.

Kia hasn’t released any technical details on the zero-emission Pop Concept yet. We’ll have to wait till the end of September to find out more.
