PSFK SALON NY- Innovation In Fashion

PSFK is the go to source for new ideas for creative business. Our events bring to life the discussion that takes place everyday on our site with a focus on particular areas of innovation.

On the morning of September 21st, PSFK will host a salon at Soho House New York, where we will provide a spotlight on two areas of progressive thinking within the apparel business. The event will involve two panels – the first will look at how sustainability is changing product and process in the industry; the second will look at the impact of technology on retail and marketing.

Current panelists include:

  • Simon Collins, Dean of Fashion at Parsons – who will share their focus of teaching design students about zero-waste practices
  • Christiana Liedtke, haute couture designer – who will describe her upcycling work with Terracycle
  • Gill Linton, vintage expert – who will explain the power of re-wear and re-use in the apparel industry
  • Ashley Granata, retail expert at Fashism – who will explain the impact of social media sharing on fashion

This event is kindly hosted by Soho House New York.
