Lifestyle Accessories Made From Reclaimed Fire-Hoses

Lifestyle Accessories Made From Reclaimed Fire-Hoses

A UK-based company reclaims industrial and commercial waste to make exquisitely designed products.

Naresh Kumar

UK-based Elvis & Kresse, noted for using industrial waste to design sleek life-style accessories, has launched a new range of products made from old fire hoses. The Fire-Hose range consists of belts, wallets and bags, all of which are made from de-commissioned hoses from the British fire brigades, which otherwise would have been dumped in landfills.

The company has also worked with Apple in bringing out a protective case for the iPhone, again made from vintage hose. Besides reclaiming around 40 tons of old hoses, Elvis & Kresse also donates half of its profits from this range to the Fire Fighters Charity.
