Design Miami: Audi Concept Filling Station

Design Miami: Audi Concept Filling Station

By Dave Pinter on December 2, 2010

Audi debuted a concept electric car filling station at Design Miami. The building aims to provide a space where owners of electric vehicles can stop and spend time while their car recharges(which can take an hour). Inside, the filling station provides a host of amenities including a cafe and lounge. A menu of organic foods and healthy beverages are served. The lounge was designed to be like a living room and contains comfortable furniture and a large well-stocked bookcase. A perch bar overlooks the charging area where customers can plug in their laptops.

Audi brought over the e-tron convertible concept which we last saw on our trip to the Paris Motor Show earlier this year.
