While Berlin may be the unofficial street-art capital of Europe, one northernmost city has slowly but quietly been establishing itself as a major design hub. Renowned for it’s textiles, furniture design, and graphics, Sweden’s most overlooked aesthetic gem includes their underground metro stations, which have become have become a major aesthetic attraction, in addition to providing Swedish citizens with daily visual inspiration. Made to conform to the natural molding of the underground system, and painted in eye-catching colors, the citizen’s of Stockholm have more than cold weather as a reason to want to spend more time in the metro.
