Film Biz Recycling, a not-for-profit organization that takes costumes and other materials that would otherwise be thrown away after filming to rent and sell them, has found a new home in Brooklyn, New York. Now located at 540 President St, the 11,000 square foot space will make it easier for the organization to carry out their mission “to see every re-useable building material, prop and set dressing either make its way to charity or help fund the efforts of Film Biz Recycling.” The space will allow them to accommodate a wider range of items, particularly much larger ones than before.

Film Biz Recycling sees what they are doing as a collaborative effort with the entertainment industry to spread the message of sustainability and recycling to as many people and companies as possible.

Below is a music video put together by the team covering their move into the larger space.
