American Airlines Use Flash Mob To Promote New Flights [Video]

By Emma Hutchings on April 11, 2011

Instead of using a more traditional advertising method, American Airlines decided to organize a flash mob in downtown Los Angeles, California to promote the launch of an expansion to their services.

40 dancers descended the steps at the U.S. Bank Plaza, surprising onlookers with their routine before creating the red and blue ‘AA’ logo with their travel bags and then dispersing.

American Airlines have added 10 new destinations from the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), including a new daily nonstop service to Shanghai.
