BBH’s campaign, Status of Africa, is a new twist on charity work via social media.
The agency selected 6 African moms and connects them to volunteers by giving them the opportunity to leverage volunteers’ personal network on behalf of these 6 mothers. Each woman will send only two status updates a day. Last year, 1,600 signed up to support the initiative. In addition to targeting America and Canada, this Mother’s Day BBH is looking to also launch the campaign in France and the Netherlands.
