Fiat has gone green by donating eight 12-ft pear trees to MillionTrees NYC. This initiative, in association with New York’s Department of Parks & Recreation and the New York Restoration Project hopes to plant one million trees across the City’s five boroughs over the next decade.

Two weeks ago, Fiat introduced their new Fiat 500 Cabriolet at the New York Auto Show, and to promote it, they have placed each tree in its own white pot shaped like the new model. The pear trees are located on Canal Street and the Avenue of the Americas. The Fiat pots are just temporary, while the trees will remain a permanent feature.
