New Geo-Cosmos At Tokyo’s Museum Of Emerging Science And Innovation

The new 20-foot Geo-Cosmos is the largest of its kind in the world and reflects Earth as seen from space.

 

Adorning the Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation in Tokyo as its prized blue gem is the new 20-foot Geo-Cosmos, which was recently revamped and equipped with 10,362 OLED panels that reflect a simulation of the Earth as seen from space. The new Geo-Cosmos is the largest of its kind in the world and is linked to interactive touchscreen panels (“Geoscopes”) that showcase a simulation of the recent tsunami disaster in Japan as well as real-time notifications of global weather.
