There has been an ongoing controversy over the brand’s perceived borrowing of designs from small-time creators, and a new instance brings up fresh questions about idea ownership in the age of the Internet.

We were quick to lend our sympathies recently to Stevie Koerner, the Etsy designer whose necklaces were knocked off by Urban Outfitters. But it looks like Koerner’s designs don’t stand alone—a Racked commenter reminded us of Maya Brenner’s similar necklaces—and it seems that other Etsy designers have been making them, too.
