David Bowie’s ‘Space Oddity’ Adapted Into Children’s Book

By Kyana Gordon on August 30, 2011

Artist, Andrew Kolb’s children’s book adaptation of the David Bowie 1969 classic ‘Space Oddity’ is a brilliant visual interpretation of the song. The lyrics at times bleak, depressing and a wee bit traumatizing, may be a bit much as recommended bedtime reading. But for fans of Bowie who have subconsciously wanted their pre-school aged children to get into Bowie’s music, well, this would be a great place to start. Not for sale as an actual book, enthusiasts can enjoy it by downloading it as a pdf from Kolb’s website.
