YouTube Relaunches Its Music Page With Extra Features
YouTube has relaunched its music page, hoping to provide its users with more personalized recommendations and expert curation. The features on the page now include recommended videos and artists based on what you have watched and who is currently popular on YouTube, upcoming concert listings for your area along with artist videos and the YouTube Top 100 chart.
The music page also shows picks and playlists from “music experts and tastemakers”, with curations from SPIN, Vice and Anthony Fantano of The Needle Drop. Over the next five days, a hand-picked playlist will appear on the page, with music stars sharing a guide to their genre. These include Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Guide to Rock, David Guetta’s Guide to Electronica, and Lady Gaga’s Guide to Pop.
