Redesigned Amazon site will be tablet-optimized and include a much more intuitive interface.
Amazon will soon be unveiling their new website sporting a different look that will be more versatile on various technologies. The new design will feature a bigger search bar, larger buttons and become much more easier to navigate. The redesigned Amazon site will be launched sometime in Fall and will be live for all its international customers, not just the U.S. Amazon hopes that the newly designed site will make online shopping more accessible and easy on a tablet device.
The redesign of Amazon’s website subsequently follows its latest news that the company will be releasing their own tablet before Christmas this year. The Android-based Tablet is expected to retail for $250 and will include a 7″ screen, multi-touch and in full color. The tablet would be a complete make-over and update of its current Kindle device.
