Google+ Introduces Mobility To +Hangouts

By Preetam Kaushik on September 27, 2011

Google+ is set to offer more features to its +Hangouts function, with the aim of improving its socializing ability by mimicking the real world. With +Hangouts, up to nine users can video chat together at the same time. Chief among the updates is that Android 2.3+ users will now be able to use this feature on their mobile phones. Additionally, video chats can be turned into public broadcasts, so while only nine users may participate, more can watch. Users can share doodles or collaborate on a Google document as well. The announcement of Google’s new features coincided with competitor Facebook’s F8 developer conference.
