IBM created a color sensitive interactive billboard that changes color depending on what your wearing. The billboard has installed a color detection camera that changes the color of the LED lights inside to match what it sees in front.

The billboard was designed by ad agency Ogilvy Digital for IBM’s Smarter Planet campaign. This campaign encourages industry leaders to use technology in an innovative way to create positive growth. The color-changing billboard was directed at a ‘smarter supply chain’. In retail, color is a persuasive aspect that can influence buying decisions. The billboard aims to give consumers a unique retail experience. See the IBM billboard in action below.
