LeapFrog Offers A Learning Tablet For Children

By Emma Hutchings on September 15, 2011

The LeapPad Explorer tablet from LeapFrog is a great new gadget for children aged 4-9 years, which can assist with their learning while mirroring popular adult tablets. The Explorer has 2 GB of memory and a 5″ touchscreen with 480×272 resolution. It offers kids motion-based play with a sensor and includes a built-in camera, video recorder, microphone and a stylus.

The LeapPad’s library includes more than 100 learning game cartridges, e-books, apps and videos to download. Also, this tablet will be backwards compatible, so the existing library of Leapster Explorer game cartridges and apps will work on it. The multifunctional LeapFrog Explorer offers digital learning, reading and gaming to the next generation and costs $99.99.
