Canadian future-pop duo New Look released a music video for their new track Nap On The Bow, directed by Tim & Joe at production company Colonel Blimp. The video was shot using an Xbox Kinect camera, which tracks a person’s movements in 3D by emitting thousands of infra-red dots, and then combined with CG imagery to create the amazing visuals. Tim & Joe said:

For a while now we have been interested in the possibilities of using the Kinect to shoot live action in 3D. When we heard Nap On The Bow we instantly knew the rippling pixelated images that the Kinect captures would fit well with the song. We found ourselves imagining a whole underwater world and decided we could create something interesting that embedded the Kinect performance footage into a CG realisation of that world.
