The United States government will have a virtual embassy for Iran up and running by the end of this year.

No Iranian embassy has existed in the United States since 1980. Now, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has announced that a virtual embassy to assist Iranians with visas and student exchange information will be available by the end of the year on the web. The US will help circumvent any Iranian attempts to block online access to the embassy. Mashable.
