The vodka brand is collaborating with Gareth Pugh to launch a couture-inspired bottle.
ABSOLUT is collaborating with English fashion designer Gareth Pugh to launch ABSOLUT MODE EDITION. Inspired by Pugh’s signature silhouette – his characteristically hard-edged design, the bottle will feature twelve facets and is wrapped in a blue silk cloth band with text embroidery. The new campaign will also showcase photographs by Sharif Hamza featuring American supermodel Shannan Click, who cleverly embeds the faceted exterior of the bottle in the background. Mathias Westphal, global brand director at The Absolut Company comments on the collaboration:
It was very inspiring to work with Sharif Hamza. He immediately came up with an idea for the photo shoot that we loved. It really captures the concept and ends up in breath-taking imagery, both moving images and stills.
ABSOLUT MODE EDITION is available exclusively from W Hotel, London and from Colette in Paris but will be made available in around 80 markets all over the world starting November.
