The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) from the US Department of Defense is developing a prototype one-piece suit intended for soldier use. Known as ‘Warrior Web,’ this futuristic piece of underwear performs beyond that of regular boxers or briefs. According to sources, the proposed clothing can protect the soldier from injury, help the wearer sustain body energy, and even keep track of his vital signs. Warrior Web hopes to answer the call for efforts in improving soldier performance as well as preventing fatalities in the field.

As of October this year, DARPA is still conducting meetings before finalizing the project. The office is currently looking for researchers in advanced fields such as biomechanics, dynamics, materials technology, and others.
