Pine-Sol Repackaged With A Classic Feel [Pics]
Graphic artist Jim Chapa redesigns the all-purpose cleaner with a more traditional twist.

The multi-purpose household cleaner Pine-Sol is known for its tag line, “The Powerful Scent of Real Clean.” The detergent was invented in 1929 and its aroma of lemon and pine can often be a nostalgic scent for people who have grown up with the product. Graphic designer Jim Chapa captured this sentimental factor perfectly in the package redesign of Pine-Sol.
The repackaged Pine-Sol has a simple yet classic and traditional feel, compared with the current packaging that’s more bold and bright. Jim Chapa is recent graduate of the Columbus College of Art in Ohio, USA.
