Audi And Enthusiast Site Offer A Charity Alternative To Online Gift Guides

By Dave Pinter on December 8, 2011

As we mentioned last week, it is peak time for publications to release their annual holiday gift guides. Audi Group enthusiast site Fortitude.com is offering an alternative to the typical list of trendy gadgets and gear. The site has partnered with Audi to host an online auction of collectible Audi racing items to benefit charity. Money raised will go to the Opportunity Finance Network which helps entrepreneurs and start-up businesses in disadvantaged communities with affordable lending to encourage economic opportunity.

Audi donated all of the items which range from banners used at the 2011 Petit Le Mans race to a series of framed posters dating back to 2000 of photos of the team racing at Sebring. Audi is also covering the cost of shipping the items to their respective winning bidders ensuring all of the money generated from the sales go to the charity.
