Christmas Choir Sponsored By British Bagel Chain Sings Requests Sent Via Twitter & Facebook
The UK’s premier bagel company Bagel Nash‘s fun and festive social media campaign over the weekend featured a “Jukebox Choir” who sang to Christmas shoppers in Leeds, UK. The live gospel choir visited four Bagel Nash outlets in the city centre and invited people to request the songs they would like to hear on the chain’s Twitter and Facebook pages.
Bagel Nash staff joined the choir to offer shoppers fresh salmon & crème cheese and turkey, stuffing & cranberry bagels. The “Jukebox Choir” entertained the crowds by with pop songs like Stevie Wonder’s Isn’t She Lovely, Adele’s Rolling in the Deep and Maroon 5′s Moves Like Jagger, as well as festive classics Santa Claus is Coming to Town, All I Want for Christmas is You and White Christmas. Sara Hildreth, Retail Operations Director, said:
The Jukebox Choir proved to be a fantastic hit and really gave the Christmas shoppers in Leeds a weekend of fun! The public really got behind the event and we had hundreds of tweets and Facebook messages from people with their winter wishlist.
