Christmas Wishlist For The Kids? There’s An Amazon App For That!

By Don Michael Acelar De Leon on December 5, 2011

Multinational online retail company Amazon creates an innovative treatment of the proverbial Yuletide wishlist by launching a free Christmas-themed list maker app for the Kindle Fire and iPad, geared toward kids who are sure to make their Christmas wishlists and show them to their parents.

Parents and children can surf and choose from over five hundred thousand selections of toys, books, video games, movies, and television shows, among many others. Once the list has been created, it can be reviewed and shared via email to aunts and uncles who may also want to share in the gift-giving spirit.

Sam Hall, director of Amazon Mobile, says:

Sometimes Santa can use help sorting out what gifts to give everyone and this new app makes it easy and fun for kids to create their perfect Wish List. We’ve selected more than five-hundred thousand of the hottest kid-friendly holiday gifts and made it fun, easy and intuitive for kids to find exactly what they want. The Amazon Santa app is also a great way for parents to spend some quality time with their kids and help make certain there’s a smile Christmas morning.
