Flickr Members Recreate The Year’s News Stories With Lego [Pics]

The Guardian’s photo gallery on Flickr features some of the top news stories from the past 12 months, created using Lego. Scenes including the royal wedding, the UK riots over the summer, protestors in the Occupy Wall Street movement and the fall of Gaddafi in Libya have been built out of the toy bricks by creative Flickr members. There is also a large Lego Christmas tree made from 600,000 bricks, which was unveiled this year at London’s St Pancras station. Click through to see a selection of the images:
