Andaz Hotel in Liverpool Street, London, has teamed up with Eyal Burstein of conceptual product design practice Beta Tank, to celebrate the festive season by creating an advent calendar with a unique twist. A large table in the hotel covered with vintage tea cups, bowls and trinkets, will feature a new treat each day in the lead up to Christmas.

Burstein scoured local flea markets, vintage stores and charity shops for the objects, which he then moulded in the octagonal hand-made resin table. The Andaz pastry chef will create something different for guests every day, served with warming drinks to get them in the festive spirit.

A series of Andaz Salons will also be hosted at the hotel, where guests and the community will be able to meet the designer Eyal Burstein and take part in cognac, chocolate and tea immersion sessions run by local experts.
