Xbox 360 Becomes An Entertainment Center With Voice-Activated Features
Microsoft's gaming console utilizes Kinect to revolutionize home entertainment.
The Microsoft gaming console is becoming more like a home entertainment center as the Xbox 360 utilizes more of Microsoft Kinect’s functions. The recent updates have enabled Xbox 360 users to stream movies, watch TV and even search online by simply using hand gestures or voice commands.
The new user interface supports various options for watching movies, TV and mobile content on the console. Microsoft’s strategy aims to ‘revolutionize’ home entertainment and make the Xbox 360 more than just a gaming console. With the launch of Kinect in 2010, Microsoft hoped that handheld controllers and remotes will become more obsolete with motion and voice activation services.
