Unseasonably warm weather in New York is affecting the retail market in the city, brands are cutting prices on cold weather jackets in both high and low end markets.

The bizarre-o warm weather that’s been just plaguing the city this winter has lead retailers to slash prices on heavy winter coats, the NYDN reports. At OVRA in Harlem, Converse sneakers have been selling faster than winter boots, and Modell’s CEO Mitch Modell says this year they’ve sold more T-shirts than jackets. Racked
