A store in Barcelona commissioned Spanish artist Martí Guixé to fill one of its empty retail space rooms with an art installation. What Guixé came up with for Vicon was the Figurative Office Siesta Cubicle (FOSC), which is a large object in shape of a whale constructed entirely of cardboard. Visitors can walk into the whale’s mouth to find a cozy ambient setting where they can rest or nap.

The inside of the whale is furnished with some of Guixé’s pieces, such as the Flama Lamp that can be used as an LED lamp or a candle holder. The FOSC wants to promote the idea that a siesta “is an experience that goes beyond a basic break.”
