Mirrored Installation Invites You To Hang Off A Building [Pics]

By Emma Hutchings on January 20, 2012

This interesting piece of interactive public art is a mirrored installation called Bâtiment (Building) by Buenos Aires-based artist Leandro Erlich. Currently on display for the ‘In Perceptions’ exhibition at Le 104 in Paris, the work creates an illusory effect using mirrors, reflecting a facade you can virtually climb on and hang off.

Visitors are invited to interact with the fun piece of art, creating a sense of community and encouraging audience participation. They can hold onto balconies or climb up the face of the building like Spider-Man. Bâtiment will be on display until the end of March.
