Facebook Lets Users Create Outfits From A Giant Networked Closet

Wear It Share It – Wishi, is a new Facebook fashion application offering users the ability to share their closets and create new looks from mixing and matching pieces with their friends. Integrated seamlessly into Facebook, the app lets users recreate a virtual closet by uploading their own photos and then share their virtual closet with close friends. Users can check out each other’s fashion stash and create new outfits by combining their own items with those of their friends or the Wishi community. Moreover, fashionistas can also seek styling advice from the community or even sell and exchange items through an online marketplace.

The user-friendly app, created by Lia Kislev and Hila Angel, was inspired by the desire to create “the world’s biggest closet.” So far, the app is only shareable through Facebook, but it would be interesting to see how more social networks can be integrated into this concept.
