Anya Hindmarch’s first actual ‘show’ for London Fashion Week was a fun and magical event inspired by toy factories, chocolates in brightly colored wrappers and Christmas presents. Handbags and shoes were showcased on a moving production line recalling toys that spin and light up.
The ‘All I’ve Ever Wanted‘ show had boxes piled high branded with Hindmarch’s signature bow logo, and old fashioned music box tunes played as the accessories traveled around. There was also a toy train carrying clutches and a bubble maker in the factory setting, with bright metallic colors, glitter and high gloss appearing throughout the show.
At the end, there was a confetti explosion and from behind a curtain, Hindmarch was revealed to be sitting on a bike seemingly powering the factory below with her peddling. Take a look at Grazia’s video of the event below:
