This Motorcycle Repair Shop Encourages Fixing It Yourself

By Dave Pinter on February 20, 2012

Motomethod is the idea of three friends who wanted to open a new kind of motorcycle repair shop. It is the first of its kind in the industry to allow the riding community to work on their own bikes within the shop. The owners Paul, Ian and Simon setup several service bays which can be rented and provide access to tools and parts in addition they are available to offer assistance on repairs or share their knowledge about how motorcycles work. Some people were skeptical of how successful a repair business would be if owners could do all the work,  but in this beautifully produced video it shows how Motomethod became the catalyst for a new community to form.
