Team CORA is taking traditional ‘recycling’ concepts and turning them into creative opportunities. The app connects users who are looking to get rid of old junk with artists and young creatives who view the refuse as raw material for their projects. Instead of throwing out old stuff, the platform gives it new life by giving or selling it to someone who can really use the item.

Note that this is more than just a creative exchange. The team’s larger goal is a green one: keeping the trash off  beaches, and out of landfills. You can donate to the project for the next few weeks here, in order to help them bring their mobile app to life and support creatives everywhere.
